Physical Description Ceilidh has a soft, creamy suntanned, porcelain skin and shoulder length dark hair. She comes from what some might consider a genetically gifted family when it comes to their appearance in that they all seem to have an ageless youthfulness to them Her eyes are extremely striking; being a deep gun-metal blue, whatever emotions at any given time shine in those eyes in a strong way. Her build is slender; in a ballet dancer way, albeit curvaceous. Having spent almost the entirety of her life on Federation Merchant Marine ships she has managed to stay in shape. She is a tomgirl that isn’t afraid of her femininity which shows in the sure footed yet sultry gait. Her golden ja'risia is often hidden by her bangs.

Personality & Traits

General Overview The time Ceilidh has spent on both Federation Merchant Marine ships and Starfleet ships amongst a tight knit crew with multispecies influence has reinforced her feisty and competitive spirit of camaraderie. She has always looked to adapt and to improve herself and the past allies of many different species which normally would never get to work close together has affected her outlook on life.
A brave and selfless woman at heart, Ceilidh is unafraid to jump into action; willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done or keep those she fells a bond with safe. Even if it means she must put her own life on the line. Ceilidh trains hard to keep in shape and is in the gym nearly every day. Some days it is only mild cardio, other days it’s weightlifting or flexibility exercises.
She has a sugar addiction, her main addiction is Hostess Snowballs. Replicated or real she doesn’t much care, but she tends to always have them with her. That and energy drinks tend to fuel her going forward often foregoing an actual meal and just supplementing with sugar.
Strengths & Weaknesses Str - Her brain chemistry allows her an unusual ability to pick
up languages with ease, to include the written form.
Str - She is Vulcan-like with mathematics.
Str - Confident in her linguistic abilities.

Weakness – Appears to have ADHD (attention deficit
hyperactivity disorder) about most things in her
off duty time.
Weakness - Gets flustered when frustrated.
Weakness – Often acts before thinking.
Weakness – Has a serious sugar addiction and caffeine
addiction, as evidence of her almost always
having a Hostess Snowballs and energy drink
nearby or at hand.

Personal History Ceilidh was born on Risa to parents of the Federation Merchant Marine. Before she was even three months old she was taken to space aboard the FMMS Mortzestus, thus she became a true child of space. She was raised on the FMMS Mortzestus, the senior crew were her family and educators. T’Sanvi, second officer and quartermaster of the ship, took on the formal education of her. She educated Ceilidh as she would a Vulcan child. With her parents’ permission she mind melded with Ceilidh and shaped her neural pathways. Ceilidh took to her education and by the age of fourteen was taking correspondence college courses from the Tri-Planetary Academy. When she turned seventeen she had earned an Associate of Science in STEM Mathematics, a Bachelor of Arts in Translation and Interpreting and was fluent in: Risian, Federation standard, Terran ( Gaeilge, [or Irish], English, Latin), Vulcan, Klingon, Nausicaan, Caitian, Orion [High Orion, Low Orion, High Kolari {or Imperial Kolari}, ‘backcountry’ dialect, Trader’s Tongue, and Yrevish.], Ferengi.
The Federation Merchant Marine made her a Provisional Enlisted Crewman 1st Class in operations and communications. She also earned her certifications in flight control of several work pods, shuttle craft and runabouts. She knew the ins and outs of the FMMS Mortzestus, as well as how the Federation Merchant Marine functioned. She often was on trade teams, the equivalent of the away teams. She would assist in translating on these missions as she was quick to pick up languages.
At the age of eighteen she was accepted into the Federation Merchant Marine Academy on Danula II, and was fast tracked into the Officer Candidate School. She graduated Summa cum laude, promoted to Ensign, and received a Class of Excellence award.
At the age of twenty-seven she was accepted to Starfleet Academy. She studied hard and earned three Ph.D. and a Master’s after four years of aggressive training.
She was then promoted to Lieutenant j.g. and assigned USS Tucker an S.C.E. Starship, she served on the Tucker, for four years, their assignment was to repair and replace the subspace relay stations. With one of the relay stations there was an incident involving removing the old isolinear circuitry and replacing it with the new bio-neural gel packs. Ceilidh came up with a inventive and new way of replacing the systems, earning an Exceptional Performance of Duty Citation.
She was then transferred to the Deep Space 3 Starbase for a five year tour. On both assignments she was a communications specialist engineer, on Deep Space 3 she also assisted the diplomatic detachment as a translation specialist. Now she has been reassigned to the USS Firebird as a translation/communication specialist.
